Wow, its been a month, I don't usually slack off that much! Its been a great few weeks. We made our trip out to MI on July 27th after the 53 foot semi was loaded with 12ft of our stuff. (the other 41 feet was a load of salami headed to MI hehe). Crazy that our whole apt fit into 12ft, but hey that meant the moving cost was less. We headed out on that monday by 3pm out of LA, and did not hit that much traffic. Got to St. George Utah that night. The few nights we spent in Denver, where we stayed with our friend Lynn's parents, wonderful hosts, and then the next night was in Omaha, Nebraska. We got into Holland at 9pm that thursday night, picked up Russ' for dinner then headed over to see our house. The semi delivered our stuff the next day, and it took just 45 minutes to unload. Within the first few days, the whole house was set up. Its weird to fit a 1 bedroom apt in a much larger space, it does not take very long to unload ;). Shawn started his job that Monday after we got here, and I have been trying to stay busy visiting with friends and family. Thanks to all our friends and family for the safe travel prayers, they worked! and we are enjoying our time in Michigan.
