One last party and 2 Mo check up

Our Smiley Girl!

So Shaylen had her 2 mo dr. appt and just cried her eyes out with the shots. It was enough to make mom tear up too. She is now 12lb's and is 23.5 inches long. This means she has gained over 3lb's and grew 3 inches in 7 weeks!! She was in the 85th % for length and the 78th % for weight. Our lil girl is growing so fast. She now can track and see so many things, she loves to smile and really tries to carry on a conversation. The first few weeks were an adjustment but now it seems so normal to have her in our lives. She has been sleeping from 9pm-5am since Jan 1 and for the most part takes regular naps during the day.

And my other girl, my cuz ellie, we hand out the presents together, we have done this for Years!! I guess you could say its a tradition by now :). I am santa, and she is the elf.

Jan 1 concluded all of our holiday festivities. It was a good time of eating, playing horse races and opening more presents :).
